Baker Lake

My Dad, Stella and I drove up to Baker Lake today to go rock shopping. It was a very nice day and I really enjoyed the drive!

We got the chance to walk around some pretty cool service roads while we were in the National Forest.

Dad thought that this might make for a good picture.

My silly dog Stella was eating grass, so I thought that I might give it a try as well.

Bouncing down the roads, and running in the outdoors. I had so much fun laughing today!

Whoa... BIG TREE

Homemade Apple Pie!

Cousin Jessie and I made apple pie together today. She was the creative mind, and I was the magician!

We used Grandma Jensen's secret pie crust recipe.

Pour in the egg...

add a little flour...

now we need some spices...
add the nutmeg...

and the cinnamon...

mix in the apples...

mix it all up...

make sure the apples taste alright...

put the top onm complete with my handprint...

The finished apple pie!

Take a little nap... and when you wake up, you have a warm apple pie... YUMMMY!

...and now onto Halloween decorating!

Stoney Ridge Farm

Today we went to the farm to find some pumpkins, and enjoy a wonderful sunshiney day!

I am just about done loading this truck up...

trucks...wagons... pumpkins everywhere.

We also got to feed some goats and a sheep.

I forgot to mention the turkey.

My parents were a little reluctant to let me ride the train all by myself. They thought I would try and crawl out halway to the donut shop. I proved them wrong.

Officially a member of the K.I.D. & S. Railroad.

Now off to the pumpkin patch...

How about this one mom?

or this one?

or that one?

Ahh... the great pumpkin!

We got them loaded in the wheelbarrow...

so, now back to the ranch.

Family Fun Day!
