Holiday Parade/ Seattle Weekend

After Thanksgiving, my family drove into Seattle for the weekend. We woke up early on Friday morning to go to the Thanksgiving Day parade downtown! My favorite thing was the bands that played really loud and fun music.

I watched most of the parade in my families arms, but when I started getting tired, we had the handy backpack that I could ride around in.

Cousin Amy & Caitlin met me at the parade too!

Big weekend, big day = power nap.

Long power nap!

That night we went out for dinner, and looked at the Christmas lights.

Then Saturday morning we went out and walked around Pike Place Market. Mom and I in front of the fish market.

Then we went to Westlake Center and rode the Holiday Carousel.

I think that I picked the fastest horse... pretty sure anyway.

Mom's horse was pretty fast too!

Checking out of the hotel, we had our picture taken in front of the Christmas tree while we stood in line to see the gingerbread house display.

I had a fun weekeknd! Thanks Grandma!

First Thanksgiving

I am excited to tell everyone about my very first Thanksgiving holiday with the family! We drove over the mountains and through the woods (not to grandma's house) but to my Aunt Mandy and Uncle Rick's house. Grandma and Grandpa Powell were in the truck with us, so that follows the script sorta!

When we got to Aunt Mandy's, she brought out some pre-birthday presents because they are going to be in sunny Maui next month, and they wanted me to have something fun to play with at their house. So... here is to opening my first birthday present! I think that Thanksgiving is getting off to a great start!

Thank you Aunt Mandy and Uncle Rick for the Ol' McDonald Tractor and all the farm animals in the trailer.

Thank you Aunt Julie-lulie and Uncle Jim for the fun dog with leash that barks, and wimpers, and pants... and barks, and wimpers, and pants... and barks, and wimpers, and pants! I look forward to taking him on walks around the house! Have I told you that I am walking laps around the house now?

Before dinner, Mom and Dad and Aunt Mandy and I went over to play in the park. It was a bright and sunshiny day, and we wanted to get outside. Guess what? There was a swing set. I like swings!

Whoo - hooo!

I told you I am walking all over the place... right?

No - not behind bars... I was playing with mom on the cool jungle gym at the park.

Back to the swings.
Dad and mom know how to swing too!

Really though, it is all about the turkey, potatoes, stuffing and all the other trimmings! Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Some Favorite Things

I have just been messing around the house lately. Mom and dad have been taking some pictures of me doing the things that I do. For instance, each time we get a new box of diapers, I figure that I have a day or two before the diaper box gets recycled... so I make the most out of playing with the box. This time I used it as a fort... a moving fort... dad like to pull me around the front room!

How far do I have to lean before the box falls over?

I am cuter than the kid on this box... pretty sure.

And hi-ho silver... got a new toy to play with!

This is my Zebra, that rocks, swivels, and plays music and other animal sounds as I ride around the house. Actually, I stay in one place because it is not actually a Zebra... but it is my Zebra!

Here is mom showing me how to saddle up.

Hi-Ho Zebra away!

It's a two seater.... for my friends.

And when the huggies box and the Zebra don't do the trick, you wil find me playing in the dining room chairs, the perfect jungle gym.

Have a great weeknd everyone!
