Last week we started swimming lessons at the Y.M.C.A., well... "water adjustment" class is the technical term, but I call it swimming lessons! We get to do a lot of splashing around in the pool. We get to do everything from washing our legs and face, jump-in's off the pool deck, front crawl and back crawl where we kick our legs, and then we get to play with toys so that we reach out and grab for a toy that teaches us how to reach out mimicking a swim stroke.

Today I played with the taxi cab. Last week I had the sailboat... and I am eyeing the fire truck that I saw in the toy bin for next week.

Here dad is helping me practice the back float, and I am helping him clean breakfast out of his beard with my toes.

One of the "lessons" we learn each week is how to blow bubbles. Everyone is having a tough time with the "blow" concept, and we end up drinking a lot of the water. Here is a picture of dad and I staring at a coughing classmate.

Alright, where did my taxi cab go?

Time to hit the showers, another week of swim class under our belt!
