Grandpa & Grandma Cronk Visit

Grandpa Fred and Tina came up from Bakersfield in their motorhome this weekend for a visit. We had a fun time around town, and at the house playing and catching up.

Dad thinks that there is a resemblance between Grandpa Fred and I... we both sunburn easy!

I am growing into quite the little boy. There is no mountain that I am not interested in trying to climb, and no matter how hard mom tries to prevent it... I am going to find some dirt!

I learned a new game while grandpa was here... I can play air hockey with the drink coasters underneath the living room table. It is a real fun time.

Close up of the air hockey table.

See how much fun it is?

Good to see you both! Family photo on the back deck.

Baby Class Reunion

Today my mom and I joined the parents and babies from our baby class for a barbecue at Kevin and Wendy and Logan's house. It was fun to meet some cool kids my own age and play for a while, and I think that it was fun for mom to get ideas from other mom and dad's about how to raise the perfect child.

You know me, everything has to pass the taste test.

I am the youngest of all my classmates, and I am the only one that has all four front teeth so far!

What else can I say? This is how I roll.

To the left of this picture are my pals Logan (front), and Coltin (blonde). We have gotten together a couple times to hang out... go to the mall, cruise the drag, you know... typical toddler things.

Daddio gets back from Montana tomorrow. It will be fun to tell him all about baby reunion.

Fairhaven Waterworks

Today the family went exploring! There is a fun park in Fairhaven that has little sprinkler fountains that spray everywhere. We thought that we would give it a shot because the weather has been so nice this week. So here is the Frog Man's first attempt at outdoor water fun!

Mom and I arriving at the park. You can see my eyes are already glued on the fun to be had in front of me.

Dad started me off in the mini-fountain. It was COLD! I didn't know what to think about that.

Some of the bigger sprinklers shot up higher. I tried dabbling my feet in those as well, but it wasn't as much fun as I had anticipated. REALLY COLD WATER. It is nothing like the water that I find in the bath tub or the shower!

We went and hung out on the blanket and watched. I had a great time watching everyone else run through those crazy water sprinklers!

Mom and I tried an attempt #2, but the park department still had not turned on the warm water yet. Here we are returing to our blanket.

Dad and I watching the crazy kids out there!

I became the official 4 leaf clover inspector for Bellingham Rec.

Chillin' with Padre.

AHA! We did find something that was pretty sweet in this park. There was this thing called a swing set, with individualized rump holders for kids the size of me to swing in! I jumped right in and let my dogs hang in the wind. I got to tell you that this swinging thing is pretty great!

A close up of the rump holder.

I am pretty sure that if I could figure out how to swing these legs, and time it right, that I could clearly swing higher than all the other kids down the line of swings.

Here is dad showing me how it all works. Back and forth, back and forth.

For now, we will stick to dad and mom power for the plane to fly. Pretty soon... under-dogs!

That is all for today! Have a great weekend.

God Bless America, My Home Sweet Home

Happy 4th of July Everybody! We finally have some sunny weather to brag about! Aunt Tara and Uncle Ty, and Grandma Jensen came out from Montana for the holiday, and we had Grandma and Grandpa Powell and Ari, and several friends over for a fun July 4th BBQ.

The boat wasn't running today, so earlier in the day Uncle Ty gave dad some driving lessons on their new motorcycle. Ty and Tara just got to Bellingham after taking their motorcycle all the way to Alaska. How sweet is that?!

We fired up the BBQ at 4 p.m., and we started a new tradition that everyone was a bit skeptical about at first. We barbecued oysters!! Many agreed to try them, and to everyones surprise, it was a hit! We decided that it might be fun to make this a July 4 tradition. The following pictures are from the taste tests. Mom slid them down the hatch like an experienced professional.

Cousin Ari! BBQ or Butter?

They were a hit for Grandpa!

Dad was sweating the idea, but said that they were pretty good.

Aunt Tara put it down with a smile!

I am not a big enough kid to sample the friendly crustaceans, so Grandma(s) and I watched from a safe distance. But I was all about the party and festivity, proudly displaying my fourth of July hat.

Uncle Ty and Aunt Tara brought me a Harley t-shirt from Chilcoot Pass, Alaska. It reads, "Stroller today, Harley tomorrow". Here I am inspecting what the future might be like.

It is always nice to have family around. Thanks for coming to our house everyone.

Talk to everyone again real soon.

Peanuts and Cracker Jacks

It's take me out to the ball game everybody... and Mighty Casey is at bat...

Mom and I got dad tickets to the Mariners for Father's Day, and we got to go and have fun in Seattle all day today. We got to the game just in time, and found our seats right behind home plate. It had slipped our mind that grandma was going to be in town the day of the game, so we scrambled to the internet last night and found a seat that was available real close to where we were going to be sitting. After a few innings, we had located seats where everyone could be together and enjoy the MARINERS WIN! I can tell that baseball games our going to be a lot of fun.

Grandma, mom and I getting to our seats.

Dad and I watching for foul balls.

Seventh Inning Stretch.

Are we having fun or what?

Eighth Inning Stretch?

Mariners Win!

Glad you could come to the game grandma!

Now we are off to have some yummy dinner in Seattle.

So many things to look at, and you wouldn't believe how much noise there is at a baseball game.

Get a hit, get a hit, any old hit.... just poke it out there!

Happy Father's Day Dad!
