Finnegan's Friends

On Monday, Maryann stopped by to visit me. She shared about her latest trip where she went heli skiing in Canada. Sounds like fun!!! I look forward to learning to ski when I get a bit older. I like my wooden fish! Thank you!

On Sunday, Joanna and Maddie Neuman stopped by to say hello. I got to read a really fun book with them that had lots of crinkly noise gadgets and a mirror and everything. Thank you.

Teddy Jr.

I have really started to notice the stuff around me lately. For example, look at this teddy bear that I found on my bed the other day. I just had to scoop it up and give it a big slobbery Finnegan smackeroo.

Finnegan's Baptism

Today at church was my baptism. Dad and Mom told me that this is God's way of claiming me as His own, but I trust that He has been there all along. It was fun having my family together this weekend, and I sure want them to know how thankful I am that we were all together.

Here is a picture of my mother and I before worship service. If you look real close at the picture, you can see my birth announcement on the church kiosk behind us. :)

I want you to meet my God-parents, Uncle Ty and Aunt Tara.

And look at all of us... the whole family got to come up and see Pastor Kevin with me! Cousin Jessica is holding a sweet candle that Pastor Kev gave to me.

That Pastor Kev, he made a real big scene when he poured the water into the baptismal font. It really caught my attention. Kind of fun, God's way of introducing Himself.

And here is the big moment, baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

After I was baptized, Pastor Kev lit the candle, and said a prayer for me and my family.

After church, we all went back to my house for a big tea party that mom and dad had been planning. I never thought a tea party could be so much fun. It sure felt like a real big deal, this baptism thing. Here is a picture with Ty and Tara, Jessica and Stacie. They came all the way from Montana to be here this weekend.

We had Strawberry Scones...

... Chicken Salad Sandwhiches, and quiche (not out of the oven yet)...

... and Boston Creme Pie.

My Grandma Powell and I. Thank you Grandma for all the work that you did to help with the tea party!

Here is a picture with Rick and Mandy, Amy and Caitlin, and my Grandma Jensen. Grandma gave me a pretty special gift. I recieved a painting of my Grandpa Jensen, dressed up in his clown uniform that he used for the Shriner events helping out children. I know that you were here today grandpa, and it will be nice to have your fun picture on the wall to make me smile!

Welcome to "My Crib"

So... welcome to my crib. This is my chance to show you around my pad, and let you into my life when I am not at work. Here is my crib, a delightful place that I like to hang out in, especially after breakfast, lunch and dinner. From time to time I also hang out here if my parents have someplace important to be without carrying me around. It is great. My Grandma Powell added a lot of the crib details, such as the star bumpers and sheets.

My room has a "nautical" theme. There are boats and stuff like that to make it feel like I am out on the wide open ocean sailing around. It is pretty cool, because I can see the lake from our house, and someday I just might get to go out in a real boat! Here is a picture of my boat anchor.

This is the guest bed. If you are company coming to visit... you get to join in on my crib. We can call it a slumber party. Grandma made the matching curtains too, with fun stars to light my way at night.

And this is the quilt that Grandma made for my room! It has a sailboat on it, and it is really comfortable. Someday when I am a big kid, I will get to put this in my crib to keep me warm at night.

Okay - that is Mr. Finnegan's room, now keep out!

Yodel-ay-he-who

Grandma Jensen is in town for my baptism this weekend, so today I called up both of my Grandma's, and invited them to come for a hike with my mother and I. Here are pictures from the cool hiking trail that I've been exploring lately.

Let's work it Ladies! Come on!

That's my Grandma's!

It was a great day for a hike.

The Lone Ranger

I am just growing like a weed these days. Next week I have my doctors check-up...mom and dad are real curious to see how much I have grown since I was born. Other than that, it has been fun around the house. My mom has been taking me on lots of walks, and we have been having a lot of fun together. I am also getting real photogenic... here are a few of my most recent glamour shots!

Me in my cowboy boots! The Lone Ranger and Silver have nothing on Stella and I.

Howdy partner, next time you are in the neighborhood, why don't you tie your horse up to the hitching post outside and come in and say hello.

Frog Prince

Just showing off my new frog bathrobe/ bath towel. It is a pretty sweet deal... it is completely functional after a shower. It has a hood that keeps my head warm, and it has a towel that wraps around the rest of me. The great thing is that it doubles as a Halloween outfit come Fall! Need I say that I just got out of the tub, and now I am chilling in the frog get-up. Have a good weekend everyone!

Stroller Racing

Today I met up with some of my baby class buddies at Lake Padden. Our mothers chit-chatted about having us babies as they walked around the lake, and we pretty much took naps in our respective vessels as we took in the scenery. It was good to see my buddies Logan and Coltin, and I can't wait to play some more!
