Faith, Bobbie & Aubrey

On Wednesday, Faith and her children Bobbie and Aubrey came to visit. They brought me a fun lamb snugli (how fun is that). Stella had a lot of fun playing with Bobbie and Aubrey, and my mom had a good time visiting with Faith. Thank you Stewarts!

To the Stratman's house we go.

Today I got bundled up for a trip to see the Stratman's. My mom told me all about Tyler and Noah, and how much fun those two are to hang out with. I just had to meet them for myself!

Here is a picture of me modeling my new hat that our neighbor Johanna made for me.

Check out the new ride!

Today it was beautiful outside, so mom and dad bundled me up and took me for a walk in my super stroller. It took dad quite a while to figure out the on-board GPS system, that will tell us how far we have walked, and how fast we did it in etc... but it was good family fun for us to get out and about and enjoy the nice day.

We Love You Grandpa!

What is a Family?

A family is a blessing... it means so many things!
Words could never really tell the joy a family brings...
A family is mutual love, The love of a father and a mother
showing children how to love and care for one another...
A family is heartfelt pride, the feeling deep and strong
That makes us glad to play a part and know that we belong
A family is always home, a place where we can share
Our joys and sorrows, hopes and dreams,
For happiness lives there...
A family is a bond of faith that even time can't sever,
A gift to last throughout our lives...
A family is Forever!

On January 14th, my Grandpa Jensen passed away after a short battle with cancer. My family holds fond memories close to their heart. It was extra special that we were all able to be together as a family this Christmas, and we will all remember Grandpa's love and sense of humor. We love you Grandpa! This picture is with Grandpa & Grandma Jensen and all the cousins.

Fun Photo Gallery

I know that it has been a while since I have posted to the blog, but I have some photos to share from the last few weeks...

Here is a picture of me showing off my new pants that say "DANGER" on the bottom! Words don't do justice, but none-the-less, here I am "mooning" the worldwide web!

Here is a picture of my Uncle's taking a nap at Grandma Bev's in Billings.

My dog Stella got to come with us to Montana, where she got to play all week long with Uncle Ty and Aunt Tara's dog. They played and played and played! Stella learned the art of going in and out of the doggie door on her own, and she had a bad experience with the self dispensing dog feeder. Stella helped herself to too much food, and got sick everywhere... Dad and mom are still wondering if she learned anything from that experience.

We stopped at a rest stop in Washington to do a double-cheeseburger diaper change.

Finn's Friends

On Monday, my mom and dad's friend Robin came by to see us. Mom had a good time catching up with her, and she delivered wonderful meals from my mom's co-workers. My parents say thank you. Have fun in Phoenix Robin and Tara, and good luck Rockin' and Rollin'.

After church, my mom and dad's friend Tara came by to say hi and meet Mr. Man. My mom and Tara are going to push me for miles in my stroller cart when they go for runs! I can't wait!

Church on Time

Today was our first big adventure out of the house that required a little bit of pre-planning by mom and dad. I overheard them talking last night before bed about all the little details it was going to take to get to church on time. We made it to church on time... no problem, and it was great. I don't know if it was all the good music, or Pastor Kevin's sermon that kept my attention for the entire worship service, but I was a good kid!

After worship, I got to go and hang out with the Sr. High youth group downstairs. Truth be told, I was the focus of attention, and I loved it. Here are my new friends: Amy, Brandy, Chris, Jerry, Emily and Cameron who was back from College for Christmas (Go BSU!)

Seahawks Nation

As many of you in Western Washington may already know, it is playoff time in the NFL, and today is my first chance to experience a Seattle Seahawks football game. Dad found this sweet Matt Hasselbeck jersey at babies-r-us, and we are decked out to watch the big game. We are going over to Grandpa and Grandma's house for a fun filled game watching good time.

Settlin' in

My parents friend Kent stopped by to say hello. My dad says that he is the lucky guy that is going to teach me how to wakeboard behind the boat someday.

We are settling back into life at home. My dad and mom have even put together my bouncy chair and my swing... so it is party time in Finland.

Back Home Again

On Monday, we left Bakersfield, CA for home. We drove to Redding, CA the first night, and then stayed in Vancouver, WA the second night. We had some fun talking as we drove, and we got to stop at Mount Shasta to take a quick picture of the family.

Grandpa Kenny still has his funny New Year's Eve hat on.

I got a little tired and slept really well in the hotel in Vancouver.

Grandpa Kenny obviously didn't get a full nights rest, because he fell back to sleep in the car.

We made it home to Bellingham on Wednesday night safe and sound.

More Cousin Time

On New Year's Day, I got more family time with Uncle Mike, Cousins Ari & Aidan.

Happy New Year

The family all debated whether or not we would stay up until midnight to celebrate the new year, but wouldn't you know it that my eating schedule worked perfectly with father time, and I was up as the ball began to drop! We went and made sure Unlce Mike, and my cousins Ari and Aidan were game for toasting in the new year (and firing off party-poppers in the hotel room... sorry neighbors and management). Grandpa Kenny and Stella were even game on joining in! We wish the best of blessings to all of our family and friends in 2007!
